That awkward space between reality and reality television.

I have struggled in recent months in finding material to fill this space. I refuse to turn this into a diary of every mundane detail of my daily life, and have missed the boat writing about some of the more blogworthy events of my life over the past year (stalking Condi Rice in DC, thwarting a burglary in NYC, singing "I Touch Myself" to a bunch of strangers in Topsail Island). I've often thought of focusing Possum Holler towards a more singular topic rather than count on the occasional and unpredictable case of creativity (or attempted creativity). Until now, though, I hadn't been sure of which direction to go.
So, what I propose is reinstituting the MAN oF The WeeK.
MAN oF The WeeK, or MOW, was a tradition started by my former roommate, PFC William P. Hart, Jr. our freshman year of college and was faithfully posted on the door each week. For more history on MOW, click here: www.unc.edu/~bsellers/archives.html
Just looking down that list I'm overwhelmed with nostalgia. I encourage yall to link to the old MTS website linked on the right (MTS Central)...there really is some funny stuff on that page.
So, I will be back sometime this week once I figure out the perfect person to be the very first Possum Holler MOW.
As always, suggestions will be accepted........and promptly discarded.
